Is there a day when the move service
is fully-booked or reservation is difficult?
Most of the time Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays,
during Holidays or end of the month and beginning of the month.
Seasonally, late March to early April.
Some customer avoids Butsumetsu (仏滅)*
and prefers to move during Taian(大安)**,
but there are only few cases for preferences like these.
With the above reason, we suggest
to book with us during Weekdays mid-month.
Furthermore, late March are very busy with move due to start of classes,
graduation, new work, changing jobs or newly purchased houses,
we might not be able to cater you with your preferred date.
Translates as "Buddha's death" and is considered the unluckiest day
of the six Rokuyo-days. Few people get married on a butsumetsu
and some wedding parlors even offer discounts
for couples getting married on these days.
The luckiest day of all. A good day for weddings,
moving house and being discharged from hospitals - shrines and wedding parlors
are usually packed and you have a good chance to take pictures of a wedding.
Is there any that I need to prepare before requesting for quotation?
With regards to calculation of quotation,
the important factor will be classes and type of household furniture,
quantity and weight, as well as travel distance.
Due to that we recommend you to inform us beforehand
what household furniture that you will include in transportation.
Basically, the less the item, the cost in quotation will be lesser.
In order for us to provide you with the accurate quotation,
kindly provide the building condition of the new address
(in what floor of apartment, total floor of the house,
with/without elevator, measurement of corridor and etc.).
Additionally, kindly advise us if there are furniture that cannot
be transported unless disassembled or cannot
be transported through main doors due to sizes.
What’s Easy Quotation Service?
Basically, when you book for a move in moving company,
the company will dispatch some personnel
to the customer’s house to check all items and luggage for exact quotation.
However, with our Easy Quotation Service,
no need to worry about personnel expenses or travelling expenses,
we do not need to visit your house for the inspection.
We will be conducting our inspection through smartphone
with our representative, so that we can check how many items
or furniture just by sharing the picture with us.
This service is perfect for; you want to cut the total cost,
or if you have few items or furniture to move.
Is it possible to request for a quotation over the phone call?
We can create a quotation over the phone call,
if single move and if you have few items to move.
How many days should I allot for quotation before the preferred move date?
You can request as early as 2 months before your preferred move date or
as late as 2 weeks before the move date. Moving procedure is like reserving a seat,
it will fill up from the day when the demand is high, if there is enough workforce,
it will be possible for us to assist you 2~3days before your preferred date.
If the demand is too high on that date it will be difficult for us
to start the procedure on your preferred date.
Normally, it needs to consider the preparation that can be done on customer side.
we recommend to request for quotation 1 month before for your preferred move date,
so that you will have enough time for preparation.
Is there a date moving cost will get cheaper?
It is almost same as going on vacation, price may vary depending on demand.
Generally, during high demand date
(Fri, Sat, Sun and Holidays, or end of the month and beginning of the month).
From late March to early April, chance of getting a discount will be low.
Specifically, there are high demand during last 10 days of the March,
it might be difficult to move to your preferred date.
I would like to book for a move during the storm season,
do you work even in the storm?
If it is slightly stronger rain or wind we will work with extreme caution.
However, if road traffic problems have occurred due to strong wind and strong rain,
we will be contacting the customers and request for an extension.
If there are predicted typhoon we will be consulting with the customer,
however, sudden occurrence of natural disasters such as earthquakes,
tsunamis, landslides may interfere with our work,
during that case we will be contacting you so that we can inform you the solution.
Should I be present during the procedure?
During the procedure, there might be special instruction,
clarify and to avoid trouble, kindly be present during the move day.
If our customer cannot make it on the said date,
we will be requesting substitute.
Furthermore, if you are going to dispatch a substitute,
kindly talk with the substitute in detailed manner,
(items that should be moved or not, position of the
furniture and etc.) so that we can avoid troubles.
How long can you move out during the day?
In rough estimation, we can move 100km in a day,
but working time may vary on luggage amount, condition of the building,
traffic, plus the specific work requested by our customer,
we will see the actual required work time after confirming the condition and situation.
